Aqua Tower Technical Specifications and Installation Details

Parcaqua Aqua Tower water play structures combine structural supports, platforms, slides, interactive water play elements and water supply connections. The following overview outlines the design approach and project-specific installation requirements for project owners, designers and installation teams.

Project-specific technical requirements: All dimensions and technical requirements may vary depending on the project configuration. Final structural, hydraulic and foundation requirements are determined during project engineering. Dimensions shown in the drawings should not be treated as standard installation values for every model.

Modular Design and Project Configuration

Parcaqua Aqua Tower systems can be configured to suit the available site area, intended user group, user capacity, platform heights and selected water play elements. The number of platforms, slide types, interactive features and water effects are defined according to project requirements.

Structural Support System

The main support structure is designed with the high humidity and corrosive conditions of water park environments in mind. Support posts, platform connections, stairs and guardrail systems are sized according to project-specific structural calculations.

Platforms and Stairs

Platform and stair surfaces are designed to provide slip resistance for barefoot use in wet environments. Where specified, open or draining platform surfaces help reduce standing water.

Protective Barriers

Platforms and access routes incorporate protective barriers designed to reduce the risk of children climbing or moving outside the designated play area.

Anchoring and Foundation System

Aqua Tower support posts are secured to reinforced concrete foundations using project-specific base plates and mechanical or chemical anchors selected for the project. Base plates are installed level. Foundation geometry, reinforcement and anchor embedment depths are determined by project-specific structural calculations.

Main Water Supply and Connection Details

The main water supply line and water connections to the support posts are designed to suit the Aqua Tower configuration. Connection layouts and hydraulic requirements are determined during project engineering, taking into account the selected water play elements and water effects.

Water Play Nozzles

Water play nozzles are selected from materials suitable for continuous water contact and outdoor exposure. Nozzle geometry is designed to reduce the risk of sharp edges or hazardous projections in areas accessible to users.

Safety by Design

Edges and joints that users may come into contact with are designed with safe use in mind. Metal edges and weld areas are appropriately finished, and connection hardware is protected wherever the design allows.
